Thomas A. Elliot
Thomas A. Elliot was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1993 and has concentrated in matrimonial and family law throughout most of his legal career. Prior to joining the Joseph Law Group, P.C., Tom was a partner for a decade in a prominent Long Island law firm. Tom is experienced in all areas of complex matrimonial and family law and handles cases from inception through trial, as well as post judgment matters and appeals. In addition, Tom has extensive appellate experience and has served as appellate counsel on several leading cases in the area of matrimonial law. As a young lawyer, Tom was named as one of the Ten Leaders, age 45 and Under, in the field of Matrimonial Law for the Long Island region.
Tom is a member of the Board of Editors of the New York Family Law Monthly and has authored several published articles. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association Matrimonial Law Committee and the New York State Bar Association Family Law Section, and is also Barrister in the New York Family Law American Inn of Court, an organization committed to enhancing the professional, academic and ethical qualities of legal advocacy in the practice of matrimonial and family law. Tom is also a member of the Unified Court System’s Matrimonial Special Masters Panel in Nassau County.
